Enrollment Requirements

Parents who apply for enrollment should familiarize themselves with the philosophy and policies of Stephenville Christian School, complete all application forms, and return them along with the following:

  • Completed application forms
  • Pastoral recommendation from your church
  • $300.00 non-refundable registration fee
  • Direct Deposit Form (unless tuition paid in full before school begins)
  • Copy of child's birth certificate
  • Up-to-date immunization record
  • Copy of any school academic records
  • Any report of reading or learning difficulties

Upon receipt of all materials, the school office may schedule an interview with the parents and/or student. The admissions committee may be consulted and may make a recommendation to the school board.

Community Service

SCS students are encouraged to log community service hours. Volunteering builds empathy, responsibility, and a lifelong habit of serving others as Christ modeled.

Academic Standards

  • Students are expected to work up to their ability level
  • Good effort in work habits is required
  • Daily assignments and homework must be completed
  • Academic cooperation between teacher, parent, and student is expected

No Pass, No Play

Students who wish to participate in extracurricular activities — including sports — must maintain at least a 70 average in all subjects and maintain a good conduct record. This rule applies to all extracurricular programs.

Curriculum & Accreditation

SCS uses A Beka Book as its primary publisher. The school is accredited through the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS), meeting or surpassing high academic standards for Texas private schools.
