Our Programs
Eagles Athletic Programs
SCA currently competes in three sports through the Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship (TCAF). Each program is open to qualifying students and guided by coaches who prioritize faith and character alongside athletic development.
Eagles Basketball
Girls of FaithFor the 2024 season, SCA formed the "Girls of Faith" — a team featuring female athletes from SCS, White Horse Christian Academy, and Hook Elementary. Competing in the Lingleville league, the team placed 2nd. Basketball teaches coordination, composure, and the value of competing with integrity.

Cross Country
Fall SeasonSCA fields a Cross Country team each fall open to eligible students. Distance running is one of the most discipline-demanding sports — it builds mental toughness, pacing strategy, and the ability to push through difficulty with perseverance.

Track & Field
Spring SeasonSCA Track & Field competes at the Elementary level through TCAF. Athletes specialize in field events — shot put, discus, javelin — and sprint events including the 100m hurdles and the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash.

- Nathan Chavez — 1st place, 100m hurdles; 2nd, discus; 6th, shot put (2023 District)
- Ava Castillo — 2nd place, discus (2023 District)
- William McQuerry — 3rd javelin, 4th 50m dash, 5th 400m (2023 District)

No Pass, No Play
SCA enforces the Texas No Pass, No Play rule. Students must maintain passing grades in all subjects to remain eligible for athletic participation. This policy reinforces our belief that academics always come first — and teaches student athletes to honor every responsibility they carry.
